The Apostle John sometimes addressed recipients of this letters as “children” – an apparent term of endearment. But Paul would also refer to his readers as children in a corrective way. In his recent sermon, “Growing Up“, Pastor Mark takes us through multiple Greek words translated as “child” in the New Testament, and teaches us what the apostles were trying to convey – helping us to apply these truths to our lives.
