This time of year seems to be a quick pause before the holiday season descends. This is a good opportunity to think about what you want you and your children to experience and to remember from all of the festivities. Often we feel the stress from the expectations of others or from those we place on ourselves. This threatens the pleasure of simply being together and being thankful. Determine today to simplify your celebrations in order to leave a legacy of warm memories of time spent with family and friends. Keep the focus on our Savior, Jesus, and on all of the many ways we are blessed by the love of God, family, and friends.
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever. Psalms 118:29
